In Nigeria, chances are the chairman of your Local Government Area has a mega entourage trailing him at all times. It’s refreshing to see things being done differently elsewhere. Nollywood superstar/Samsung Mobile brand ambassador Kate Henshaw just arrived in the UK for a brief visit this morning. She dropped by Starbucks to grab some coffee and guess who she bumped into?
Prime Minister of the United Kingdom/Leader of the Conservative Party, David Cameron!
Dave was also getting something to drink and happily posed for a photo with Kate. Check out the photo above.

This is really common in the western. I used to wait on this particular governor of my state and he seem down to earth. No biggie, only him walking around without any entourage and chat with us like a human being.

It is naive to think that he would go into that kind of public place without adequate security. In fact, I won’t be surprised if his security got there at least 30 mins before he did to check the place out. It’s a nice trend he and Obama are starting, of appearing to be down to earth. I’m sure that before long, more world leaders will join the bandwagon, maybe even a few of our own. The only people that may be uncomfortable with the development are the security detail, because it can’t be easy to keep him safe while making it look like he just dropped by. Let’s just thank God that nothing bad has happened so far.

I don’t understand how David Cameron is been compared to Fashola or a LGA chairman, In the UK we don’t have presidents, so his a prime minister an equivalent of a president, so its pretty much a big deal
