The long awaited food festival – Feace for Peace is finally around the corner. Come Saturday 10th December 2011, Abuja will play host to the first annual Feast for Peace food festival.
Feast for Peace Food Festival is a non-profit food festival organized by the Nigerian Red Cross Society and Abujafood.com to create an environment where people can eat, mingle and give back to an urgent cause – the emergency relief efforts of the Nigerian Red Cross Society (NRCS). All funds raised from this event will be donated to the NRCS to support their activities in aiding the victims of ethnic, religious and political crisis in Nigeria.
Attendees should please come with non-perishable items like blankets, old clothes and shoes, mosquito nets, buckets and many other items that can be donated to those in need.
It’s going to be a yummy day as attendees will get delicious, scrumptious, mouth-watering delicacies from around the world brought to you by Abuja’s favorite food vendors-

The Exhibition – The Nigerian Red Cross will showcase their humanitarian and social endeavors in an interactive exhibition.

Support & Security -The Nigerian Red Cross volunteers and security will be around to ensure a safe and secure environment on the day of the event.
