The Copa Lagos Beach Soccer tournament is finally here.

This is first edition of a major beach tournament in Sub Saharan Africa and it is going to run from Friday 16th to Sunday 18th December 2011 where we will see South Africa, England, Brazil and our very own country –  Nigeria battle it out for the coveted title of Copa Lagos Beach Soccer 2011 Champions.

Copa Lagos Beach Soccer 2011 promises to be a full weekend of entertainment, ranging from fashion shows, to cheerleading stings to DJ Jump offs and music concerts as you sway and move to musical performances by Wiz Kid, Sound Sultan, Davido, Naeto C, Ikechukwu, Skales, Mschief, Karma, Eva, Jberg and BlackMagic.

This event will be hosted by Eko Atlantic and will be broadcasted globally on over 21 television stations – Fox sports, Al Jazeera Sports, ESPN, Super Sports, AIT, amongst others reaching 250 million households.

It is guaranteed to be the biggest and most entertaining sporting event held in Nigeria. So get your tickets and enjoy a whole weekend of never ending fun.

Full Schedule for the Copa Lagos Beach 2011
Day 1
The first round of Day 1 will see “Reis da Praia”(Kings of the Beach) and “Canarinha” – Brazil battle it out with “The Three Lions” – England, while the second round will see our very own “Sand Eagles” – Nigeria battle it out with “Beach Bafana Bafana” – South Africa.
Date: Friday 16th December 2011
Time: 2 PM

Day 2
On Day 2, Brazil will go head to head against South Africa for the first round and Nigeria will go against England for the second round.
Date: Saturday 17th December 2011
Time: 2 PM

Day 3
The final day will see England fight for the title of Copa Lagos Beach Soccer 2011 Champions with South Africa for the first round and Nigeria against Brazil in the second round.
