Let’s go “Back to Basics” with Kenyan Designer Kipusa’s understated 2013 Collection

Kipusa Collection Zen Magazine July Issue - BellaNaija - July2013 (8)In the new edition of Zen magazine – an online fashion magazine that celebrates everything African – Kenyan design label Kipusa unveils its 2013 Collection tagged “Back to Basics.” The brand name which means ‘a beautiful young lady‘ in Swahili, has created a feminine collection filled with colourful fabrics and attention to detail.

According to the editor of Zen magazine, the collection has something for every woman. It is simple, chic and colourful.

    Rather basic.
    If you told a 5 year old to draw pictures of dresses, she’ll definitely draw exactly what the ‘designer’ has up there.

    Na wah so out of all the tall slim beautiful Kenyan girls(for example Sheila of BBA) dis designer no fit select one? So na only oyibo fit model? Ok o

    These people need to realize say Africans no poor like before o we too get money and we want to see how things look on our skin tone/colour….. Ok that is all

    Great job. Dresses women can actually wear! All we see these days are pieces in which the wearer would feel odd, but these are different. If I had a girl, I’d definitely buy one of these.
