“Digital Quality Delivery is Top Priority” – Etisalat & Experts at 2013 Nigeria Com Conference & Exhibition

After two days of discussions and presentations on connectivity, telecoms, media and ICT, this year’s Nigeria Com sponsored by Etisalat Nigeria closed in Lagos, Nigeria on Wednesday 18th September 2013.

With the theme ‘Working Together to Provide Quality Services Throughout The Digital Realm’, the 4th edition of the annual conference and exhibition had in attendance over 700 telecom experts from over a dozen countries, who discussed sustainable quality of service, innovative offerings, issues in the digital industry, and added services which operators needed to capitalize on by working closely with content providers.

Speaking on the first day during a panel debate with the topic “Quality of Service on the Network: Challenges & Opportunities for Telecoms Operators in Nigeria,” Etisalat Nigeria’s Director Network Engineering, Temi Ogunbambi, said for the telco, the top priority was giving consumers value for money by taking quality of service seriously and delivering sustainable digital connectivity.

Day two featured expert speakers who addressed the boom in mobile financial services, applications and the use of social media, with representatives from Google, Mobile Monday, Ibaka TV, Eskimi, 2go, and the Ekiti State Government, among others. The Nigeria Com Conference and Exhibition is part of a series of mobile events targeted at bringing together the entire digital ecosystem to discuss opportunities and development of the system.
