Lagosians who drive around the Maryland/Mende part of the city may have seen the blooming bamboo business beneath the Maryland bridge. The wealth of creativity that abounds in that spot is simply impressive. It is for this reason that this most recent edition of CNN‘s African Start-Up caught our attention.

Malawian Rosebill Satha-Sambo is the founder of JARDS products – a venture which deals with bamboo products. Rosebill shares her inspiration for the business and what she hopes to achieve in a few years.
