Thrills & Excitement Fill the Streets as the Superbike Race “Comrade Trophy” Holds in Edo State



Superbike Road Race 2014 - Bellanaija - December2014005

On Saturday 29th November 2014, the Superbike Road Race tagged “Comrade Trophy” held in Urhonigbe, Edo State with the permission of the permission of the Government of Edo State & the Motorcycle Sports Club of Nigeria.

Traversing a distance of 32Km, the 1st place went to Jack Affara (Palestine) in a time of 11 minutes 09 seconds, 2nd place went to Ngugu Armstrong (Delta State) in a time of 11 minutes 40 seconds and 3rd place went to Ikhide Ozokpu (Edo State) in a time of 11 minutes, 49 seconds.

Planned to be an annual event held on the last Saturday of the month at the same venue, it was a great event of thrills and excitement.

In attendance and Special Guest of Honour was the Pro Chancellor of the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State, Patron of the Club and
Traditional Ruler of Evboubanosa/Abudu, His Royal Highness, Prof. G.I. Akenzua, OON.
