Maggi celebrates 50 years by sending Maggi’s Mystery Box to Bukie of Bukie’s Kitchen Muse! In this video, Bukie show us how she makes a Nigerian favourite with a Coconut twist, she’s making Coconut Jollof Rice! Here’s what she told us;

It’s a special day on Bukie’s Kitchen Muse because earlier this week I got a call from the folks at Maggi asking if I was interested in participating in Maggi @ 50 Celebrations to mark 50 years of the brands existence in Nigeria. Without thinking too hard about it my answer was a resounding yes because Maggi plays a crucial role in my daily life being a wife and business woman who runs a catering service.

It’s safe to say that this the case for a lot of women and our appreciation of the brand didn’t just begin yesterday. In fact, for me it was something that I grew up on as I recall fond memories of my mother and I – as a precocious toddler in the late 80’s/early 90’s – watching the Maggi Kitchen Show anchored by Aunty Funmi aka Ms. Olobe lo loko Sokoyoto. So to have Maggi acknowledge the passion that I have for food as witnessed in my vlogs was a rather pleasant gesture by them.

Anyway, on this episode I use the ingredients from the Maggi Mystery Box which was delivered to my home last Sunday (I put up the behind the scene videos on my Instagram page) to prepare my favourite Jollof Rice recipe – the Coconut Jollof Rice.
