Fayose seeking to create Ekiti Economic Crimes Commission
Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose has revealed his bill to establish the Ekiti Economic Crimes Commission (EECC) has passed its second reading.
Fayose revealed this on Twitter, saying he sent the bill to the House of Assembly.
The bill was sent to the House Committee on Public Accounts and Anti-Corruption, he wrote, and has passed the second reading. He wrote:
A bill for the establishment of Ekiti Economic Crimes Commission (EECC) that I sent to the House of Assembly was today, sent to the House Committee on Public Accounts & Anti Corruption. It has passed 2nd reading.Nigeria is a federation and we must run it like one.
