#BNxAirFranceinHollywood: BellaNaija’s Mercy Akamo takes Los Angeles for Nollywood in Hollywood

Hello BellaNaijarians!

It’s  Mercy Akamo here. I am a content and innovation lover, ideas curator and a TEDx tribe member, who is also part of the rockstar team at BellaNaija! This weekend, I will be travelling to Hollywood, Los Angeles ? courtesy of our fantastic partner Air France! See, I am so excited about this trip for all the reasons in the world!

So here’s what I am going to be doing there. I will be attending  Nollywood in Hollywood which is an annual showcase of the best three Nigerian films to the Hollywood film industry, Nigerians in the Diaspora and cinema audiences in Los Angeles. So cool! I love Nollywood because it uses the film industry to tell our authentic African story.

I will be travelling and experiencing this beautiful and fun journey with some of our favs like Banky W, Tope Oshin, Kemi Adetiba. I will also be attending the screening of the three movies selected to showcase which are Up North, King of Boys and Lionheart. I can’t wait to experience this trip with Air France!
