No flowers, chocolates or romance on Valentine’s Day? Youth for Transformation, a Nigeria-based NGO will be hosting a unique Valentine’s Day event. Four Shows in Four Cities on the 14th of February 2011 and the best part is that registered voters get to experience the shows for free.
To encourage Nigerian Youth who are driving change within Nigeria’s socio-economic landscape, Youth for Transformation plans to host a transformation march and concert on February 14th, 2011. The event will be held concurrently at four (4) key locations across Nigeria, namely, Lagos, Zaria, Port Harcourt and Abuja. Each of the locations will kick-off with a celebrity-led “Transformation March”. Nollywood Actors, Musicians/Performers, and Youth Transformation Ambassadors who will embark on a 2-5mile walk to the venue of the concert. The transformation march symbolizes the contribution of each individual/youth to driving change across Nigeria. Following the transformation march, there will be a concert with various performers at each of the locations.

Eagle Square, Abuja: Banky W, Terry G, Ibrahim Baba, Osama
Polo Grounds, Port Harcourt: MI, Flavour, Duncan Mighty, Mr Raw (Dat N* Raw), Julius Agwu
Polo Club, Zaria: Wande Coal, Six Foot Plus, Ice Prince, Jeremiah Gyang, Clint the Drunk
And for the best part? Admission is FREE with your INEC Registration Card.
“Youth For Transformation” aims to encourage young Nigerians to get involved by playing an active role in the development of the nation, making their voices heard by performing their civic duties – registering to vote in upcoming elections, voting during the elections, driving policy developments and reforms that affect their communities.
