New Music: Maytronomy – It’s Going Down

Maytronomy is an Effyzie Entertainment ensign (Dipp‘s Label) and certainly one of the new artists in the game now that I call the “Future of the Nigerian Music Industry”. Personally, I tag him as “The Rap Maestro” ever since i heard “Wetin You Dey Feel Like” and his killer verses on M.I‘s “Beg For It” also featuring Funbi.

But, on “It’s Going Down”, he proves that he’s so much more than just a rapper as he takes his hand on the “New Nigerian Sound” (that uptempo Afro-Dance Fusion spearheaded by Davido) and relinquishes his staunch Hip-Hop vibes for a more funky club trance and does it well too. Enjoy!
