exactly. The intro could have been just the instruments. It sounds too busy and mashed-up…like trying to fit a square peg in a round hole.

A lot of ‘intelligent critics’ would come up here talking a load of elephant dung. This is a blend of the old and the new. Nice tune and flow. Wiz exhibits his versatility on this track. Jah bless, nothing less.

love wizkid, love femi kuti. Love the fact that they collaborated. hate the result. I think my man wizkid should give us some new lyrics like he did on his album. Lyrics will always judge the song after we get over the beat.

Can you see wizkid do a song with Asa, Nneka or even Seun Kuti? If yes…i’m sure you’ll agree the lyrics will be on point. #justsaying

I can only hope the lyrics would be on point, cos it’s a known fact that wizkid uses the same ol lyrics every single time. It’s getting boring. I like wizkid and how he takes me back to the yoruba music kinda feel, but he needs new materials. Blaaah!

ok. So I might be a bit late on this one but SARZ, WIZ-KID and Femi Kuti have done a fantastic job! SARZ: Steady but danceable drum beats with underlying subtle piano keys. FEMI KUTI: You already know he killed the Sax on this one, with a blend of FELA’s “She go say I be lady”. WIZ-KID: We already know that Wizzy can sing. With his distinct fuji style, his lyrics sung in the Yoruba and english language (in some parts) manage to convey the hustle of a young, motivated, successful individual who lives life to its full. This track is definitely one for repeat in the coming week. QUALITY TUNE ****
