Catching up for a fashionable chat on all things JBL, Aina Fadina of Iofafrica – a series dedicated to showcasing Africans and friends of Africa who are making positive impacts in the fashion, music, arts & cultural world – interviewed Lisa while at their store in Ikoyi on her brand and where the JBL inspiration stems from.

She also gets to squeeze all the PR scoop from Zara Okpara who is the Head of PR for JBL and has been very instrumental in weaving the labels image to international acclaim.

    Awwww congratulations Liza Folawiyo, I absolutely LOVE her brand and her work., very inspirational
    The interview was quite an insightful and interesting piece, I only wish the music wasnt as loud so we could hear the JBL team being interviewed better.

    Maybe it’s a lack of imagination among the interviewers or other designers are not pushing themselves forward, but I can’t imagine there is anything about this brand we haven’t already heard ad nauseaum. Bella, please encourage the new-garde to make their presence felt, because the fashion pages of this site are starting to feel like the brand channel/news wire of a select few players.
