Did You Know?

Halloween is a holiday celebrated world over which sees a lot of kids and grown ups dressed in frightening masks and themed costumes. Trust our celebrities and party-goers not to carry last in the 31st October celebration. While Juliet Ibrahim and BBA star, Maria attended a charity costume party in Ghana, others like P-Square, Banky W, Praiz and TemiDollFace wore costumes for birthday parties and well, just to have some fun. Temi dollface needs to quit the moronic poses.. don’t be deceived by emmy collins. Seyi shey..local breed. Ik ogbonna, ur poses r quite girly. Anything we need to know?

On a positive note, Dolapo Oni is fabulous in dat pic, so is Uche Jombo. And that pose on top two cars..I’m in stitches. Love d Kcee song as well.

Isiagu furniture. It appeals to folks my father’s age. It could have been done in a classy way. the intent is opulence but the exorbitance of it provokes the cheesy. Sorry bros. I just had to say. I am glad you have money to spend. You can ask the designer to try harder.

nne/nna maka why? chei, see how u disgraced the P brothers. i don’t think the furniture is that bad, but it looks over the top with gold and white (the igbo mans’s best colour.lol) everywere, they could have blended it better with some darker colours. anyhoo, i love the costumes for halloween, and dillish is being exposed a lot, why don’t nigerian BBA winners get this type of exposure and fame? hmnn

I know this has nothing to do with this post but bellanaija i dont see why you should be deleting comments on your instagram page ,it doesnt make any sense
People have different opinions.we cant all see things the same way.you post a picture of someone and some other person comments i dont really like her makeup/attire/anything
and you delete the comment.I mean,i know you dont want to promote negativity but you need to let people air thier views,at least the ones that are not so harsh #just saying

It’s never ok to bring down a bride who spent so much time and money on her wedding look. It’s not a red carpet event she can recreate. She’s marrying the love of her life. Sorry you can’t express yourself negatively on our page. If you don’t have the maturity to scroll past without dragging someone’s wife/sister/daughter down, then our page is not for you. You wouldn’t want someone to do the same on your wedding day. Or for your sister or friend or cousin. Sorry for cutting off your freedom of expression just to make a bride cry, her husband angry, or get your point across. You can always laugh about it with your friend, you don’t have to make a public comment that nearly 50,000 people will see. We’re in the business of sharing happiness and love stories. But if you have to drag someone down to be happy, then the page is not for you.

    • oyeprof

      November 3, 2013 at 4:49 pm

Perhaps i shall remind you that Christianity was from the Western world too and our fore-fathers were the original idol worshippers before the white man came with Christianity, so technically we’ve been copying since tey tey. But that said, i do not support the celebration of Halloween, either in Naija or elsewhere in the world simply because of what it symbolises and not because it’s not a “Naija thing”.

(and pls dont tell me about ur different ethnic festivals like yam, fish, garri, palmwine festivals etc as they r @ best regionally/tribally accepted.) Ofcourse We have to copy them, indeed we have to, or abi since when did niggas have the brain capacity to roll out a tradition/celebration that they feel is worth showing and deserves a following.
