Hey Spring lovers! *sob, sob* It’s the final edition of the Spring Must-Haves for 2014 by Monica Awe-Etuk of Awed by Monica.

We have of admit it has been a roller coaster of fashion tips, tricks and spotting this year’s Spring 2014 trends to watch and own.

So what are we checking out today? The hot White Trend. Enjoy!

Fifth Edition: The White Factor
The fifth and final trend in our Spring 2014 Trends to Rock series is The White Factor. Gone are the days of not being able to wear white after Labor Day or all white being saved for your wedding day. Whether in select pieces for a special occasion or wearing white from head to toe, it is chic and here for the Spring party.

I love white, and the way it pops against my skin just makes it absolutely chic and one of my favourite trends. In the image above, I decided to make my white interpretation as chic as possible with a white bag, dress black & white detail sunglasses and shoes.

Looks Dominated by White
Ashley from the style blog The Daileigh does a great job of putting together this sexy white look. Hers features the midi trend and  a cropped top.

Black isn’t the only colour you can pair white with. It goes great with pink too! So I added hints of pink and black to my all white mix.

I love a fab jumpsuit, especially when it is in all white. Th asymmetrical fit of that suit is just fab!

Blair from Atlantic Pacific looks ultra-chic in this white dress with a touch of red. Love it!

Fisayo Longe from fab style blog MirrorMe is clearly about the white trends and sports a variety of all white looks on her blog. Here she combines two trends we highlighted – the midi- skirt and all-white.

The White Bag
Talk about a boy bag, this Chanel all white boy bag is everything! Hi Gwen Stefani!

This Birkin bag carried by Kim K is worth the 1year waiting list, especially in all white.

A white bag always dresses up a casual look.

White bags are always chic, especially when paired with a black and white outfit.

This look nails the 3 Cs – Casual, Comfortable and Chic.

A lady-like tote in white is stunning and is great if you only want to try white in small doses.

A black and white bag is better when dominated by white. It makes it look clean and edgy.

White Shoes
White shoes add interest to Lupita Nyong‘s look + plus its a great break from the busy print.

White shoes on an all black look adds a cool factor – it dresses up the look making it easier to transition from day to night.

Silver accessories on white always looks classy.

One of my style icons, Solange Knowles, can make any color look good and rocks the red carpet in this white look.
