Another year, another competition to promote the talent in the African fashion industry.
In collaboration with Biffi Boutiques, ITC Ethical Fashion Initiative is back with the “Beat of Africa” showcase. This will be set in motion at the Vogue Fashion Night Out on Tuesday 22nd September 2015 in Milan, Italy with 4 African designers.
Last year it had designers – Lisa Folawiyo, Nelly Agboagye of Duaba Serwa, Mina Evans-Anfom of Mina Evans, Christie Brown, Stella Jean, Anita Quansah and more showcase their 2015 capsule collections to rave reviews (Click here if you missed it).
This year, they will host – MaXhosa by Laduma from South Africa, Mimi Plange from Ghana/USA, Sindiso Khumalo from South Africa and Sophie Zigna from Senegal. They will showcase their Spring/Summer 2016 collections, as part of the African Designer showcase launched by the Ethical Fashion Initiative.
We can’t wait to see all the fab collections. Keep it locked on BellaNaija.com/Style for all the images.
This competition is channeled towards the Ethical Fashion Initiative’s continued efforts to promote creativity and talent from Africa.
