On this episode she asks, “Is sugar better than honey? Is honey better than sugar?”
According to her, “this is a question that is often asked and this episode gives a proper analysis on these two kinds of natural sweeteners. Chemically, both honey and sugar are made up of glucose and fructose. Table sugar is a lot more processed than honey. Some kinds of honey aren’t even processed at all, especially the local types of honey available in some local African markets. However, honey and sugar are just empty calories that should be avoided because they contain nothing else but sugar molecules. You should consider leaving sweeteners out of your meals gradually, in order to achieve a sustainable and healthier body weight; this in the long run elongates your body’s life span!”
