Rustic is the New Romance! Sweet Styled Wedding Shoot by Gazmadu Photography

Lala in OnedalandYagazie of Gazmadu Photography is a leading Nigerian wedding photographer behind this beautiful rustic styled wedding shoot today.

When you think of rustic, think of nature and warm colours, wood and glass, naked cakes (no icing or fondant), pendants and other cute personal touches.

Yagazie’s inspiration for this shoot was simple elegance and romance. She says,

We’re currently in an era of dramatic and luxurious weddings, which is great! But then again I know quite a number of brides would rather have a wedding more private, simple, elegant and most importantly romantic.

This shoot is aimed at inspiring the bride who is all for uniqueness.

After a lot of research I was really particular about all the details have that rustic/vintage feel.

Thankful the amazing vendors I teamed up with brought this vision into life.

She adds to aspiring brides and grooms, “I hope this shoot inspires you and your decisions.”

The models played it perfectly, that they seem like a real young couple in love and eager to start their lives together.

Be inspired!

    Love!!!???????.

When I dream of my wedding day, THIS is what I see; Rustic!

Subtle yet romantic. Intimate yet fun. Maximum of 40 guests – Family (Nuclear + those that positively shaped us, helped raise us and played key roles in our lives). Close friends – those that can tell our middle names, those we have shared memorable times in our (seperate/coupled lives) with you know. I want to look across the table and recognize every single face looking back at us. Mingling with one another, at (and with) Ease. Sharing in the joy of our day. Sharing that moment with us in pure love, not for “the ‘gram” or social media…That is what I see. And want.
    Love…Rustic!

Kiki I totally agree with you, I want an intimate wedding, in the evening, a simple dress a gathering of family. There’s nothing I want more than not having family and friends fight for souvenir and food at the reception. I just want to be surrounded by the people I love. This is lovely. Though I wish the guy was a bit older to make the shoot more… relateable.

They make intimate weddings look beautiful and perfect but with our Nigerian mothers they won’t allow it.
The couple models look so beautiful and young in love. I love it. The idea of one bridesmaid and a grooms man is also very cute.
