Brides-to-Be experience Exciting Moments at Sugar Rush Lagos 2016 with Celeb Guests Chigul, Wande Coal & More
As you must know, Sugar Weddings & Parties hosted Sugar Rush on Sunday, July 10th 2016, and we’re over the moon because it was a screaming success!
It was done in collaboration with InterContinental Hotel, Tattinger Champagne, Sara O Events and Aralia by Nature. There were thousands of visitors, and we hope you were there; but if you didn’t make it, you did miss a lot. Of course, we’re here for you, so we’ve put together a brief summary of what went down at Sugar Rush Lagos.
Chigul was in her funny zone, anchoring the numerous activities and giveaways and keeping everyone giggling.
Speaking of GIVEAWAYS, it was awoof* galore. People won unusual gifts: a couple went home with two round trip tickets to Dubai. Their honeymoon is going to be lit. Some lucky brides earned a bridal makeover from House of Tara; two wedding dresses, from Imani Swank and Wendy’s Bridal; a bridal bouquet from Aralia by Nature; jewellery set from Leries Accessories. Collection R gave away four sets of gorge materials and matching blouses, and TW magazine gave away a 6-month subscription and a bracelet. Even those yet to take the plunge got some love; St Tracy’s gave away an engagement ring. Bless. It was so much fun what went down at the event.
We bet you could have won something if you were there. Can you complete “Something old, something new…”? See? You might have won the bouquet. Do you like to dance? The brand new Imani Swank wedding dress might have been yours to take home, and even if not, you would have danced anyway because there was a black diamond involved – Wande Coal was in the building! He turned up the excitement as he serenaded guests with back to back hits.
The VIP lounge was styled by Sara O events and Aralia by Nature, so it was a great opportunity for visitors to get a feel of the extent of their creativity.
Meanwhile, VIP guests were in the lap of luxury; getting treated to premium Tattinger champagne and tasty canapés as they turned up. Wedding planners, decorators, caterers, wedding dresses, cakes, jewellery, makeup artists and legitimate fam businesses were all under one roof.
The memories from Sugar Rush 2016 will certainly linger in the minds of the attendees. Guests were spoiled for choice, and the convenience of it all was just like our boss lady Tarebi Alebiosu (founder of SWP) intended: “to provide consumers with the perfect opportunity to fully experience what event professionals have to offer.” Yup, check.
Next time, don’t just read about it – it’s no substitute – come through. We would love to do this again with you.
