as in, they only know themselves. whats the criteria for judgement? is it only lagos based? is the judgement based on numeric/empiric data? why are naijas obsessed with awards snd award shows? i had the impression that this award show was sort of credible but its just a luvvie-fest amongst themselves. as long as they can afford it…..#nocredibility

He does enough to run two successful presidential Elections. may be we should ask what you do apart from hide behind your computer and question what others do

Would have been nice if they gave a brief description of the award winners and what the category entails. Congrats to Mark Okoye.

Yes, I agree that Bolanle’s Olukanni’s awards coming from Ebonylife leaves little to be desired with respect to best practice. especially because MO Abudu herself is on the board of Advisors for the Future Awards Africa, again, she (Mo Abudu) herself presented the award and while she was reading out the nominee’s list she excitedly screamed woooow after calling Bolanle’s name.

However, overall, I guess the bulk of the awards were very fair albeit keenly contested. The nominees have extremely impressive credentials and they all deserved to be on the honours roll (this is not denying the fact there are other young Nigerians doing great stuff and are still unnoticed)

I guess it will not be bad idea if BN can help do a feature on the winners’ profiles. The award is not a perfect system yet and there a few things to learn, but I think it deserves more praise the bashing

I don’t think the fact that Bolanle works at Ebonylife plays a role in her winning the award, she has great work ethic and even branched out to produce her own webisode ‘On the Carpet’. She was rewarded for her hard work and the fact that her mentor was excited for her nomination, shows that she is proud of how far Bola has come in such a short period of time. Please all of you spending time to type (including me lol) how many awards have we garnered??? These ppl put themselves out there and are being recognized for the sacrifices they make and what they put back into the community so rather than spew negativity why don’t we encourage them. Anyhooooo yaaaaaaasssssss Bolanle!!! #1 fan
