New Music: Wizkid Feat. Drake – Come Closer

A few days ago, Wizkid announced another collaboration with Drake, which was titled “Come Closer” and fans were ready to hear another smash from the two.

Turns out the song is the official version of the previously played “Hush Up The Silence” that premiered on OVO Sound Radio a few months ago.

Now he has released the official and CDQ version of the Dancehall inspired song.

When it comes to music, a lot of Nigerian artistes e.g Wizkid, become extremely lazy once they get to the top. Shelling out ’empty songs’. Drake and Kendrick Lamar; even Beyonce, are evidence that the harder up the music ladder you go, the stronger your musical content has to become.
All this humming and repetitive lyrics are not the way forward. As a brand Wizkid is international; but when it comes to his music content; his best days are far behind him. Oga; you have talent; use it sometimes.
