I watched this with great interest. The intention is good. But like many things Nollywood, it becomes overdone and too many things distract. The first thing youre distracted by is those hideous long nails – please cut them . Then the emphasis on smoking and cigarettes – like those have anything to do with depression. And the cutting scene was, as usual, too much. I do think they got right hopelessness and loss of activities for the girl. The stepmother(??) was not really explained and it was strange to see her overdose with no signs of depression. The father…. It would be more realistic for the girl to call him Daddy.

Thank you oh. Some depressed people laugh a lot, don’t smoke or drink sef. This child was just lonely and needed a mother figure. Depression is unexplained hopelessness though sometimes triggered by events.
