Software Engineer Ayoola Ajebeku is our #BellaNaijaMCM this Week!

For our #BellaNaijaMCM feature this week, we celebrate a software engineer who’s been in the game for about a decade, and is making impact.

After his training at the National Institute of Information Technology, Ayoola Ajebeku cut his teeth in software engineering, gaining experience working in various companies, including DealDey, as mobile and web engineer/developer.

In 2012, Ayoola co-founded Nearest Locator, a location-based mobile app & GPS powered directory of nearby places/establishments like banks, hospitals, eateries, police stations, e.t.c or an address.

Ayoola currently works as a Senior Software Engineer at Andela, working as part of the team delivering software products to clients as well as providing soft skills to developers, through mentorship and workshops.

Ayoola is a 2013 fellow of the LEAP Africa Social Innovators Programme (SIP).

Today, we celebrate Ayoola for contributing his skills to people development and we’re rooting for him.

Nearest locator sounds like Google hot spot invented by a Nigerian, Chinedu Echeruo and sold to Google hence Google hotspot.
