New Music: Boogey – 5AM in Lagos

Published

 on

5am

Boogey waxes lyrical in his usual smooth and rapid flow about a very interesting topic – the Hip-Hop industry in Nigeria.

On Drake‘s “5AM in Toronto” instrumental, he talks about how Nigerians have a double standard – liking only ‘commercial’ songs in Nigeria and not promoting Nigerian Hip-Hop as well as preferring Hip-Hop from ‘across the pond’

Enjoy!

Watch out for the video of Boogey’s “Sanctum” and a 6 track project before the release of the rapper’s EP which is to be titled “Something About David – #SAD
