They’re called Conversation Starters! Taé by Bisola Edun presents its “Al Magrib” Collection Lookbook

The design label from Bisola Edun, Taé presents its Spring/Summer 2014 collection lookbook titled – “Al-Magrib“.

The collection, which was recently unveiled at the brand’s store, takes its inspiration from architecture. It stems from the Kingdom of Morocco, and takes its primary inspiration from any architectures shaped by centuries of cultural influences like the imposing arches and domes of mosques, to furniture and crockery. It combines the vibrant red orange hues reminiscent of African sunsets with vivid contrasts of yellow, green and blue that form the Casablanca landscape.

The fluidity of the collection evokes languid, sensual nights suffused with the heady, stimulating scents of herbal teas, delicate spices and African cuisine.

According to the designer, “The Taé woman isn’t afraid of attention. I’m almost always looking for an infusion of a ‘wow’ factor in my designs – I call them conversation starters“.
