Akah Nnani is out with a new vlog for his weekly ‘Akah Bants’.

The vlog is in line with the Independence celebration of Nigeria and so he went to Badagry. He visited the first storey building and the Boekoh slave quarters.

He writes ‘As we celebrate 55 years of independence and are hopeful for the best, these historic sites raised some pertinent questions in my mind.’

    Great history lesson. Thank you for taking me on the ride? Are we still in captivity? Is that a rhetorical question? Of course. Dont we prefer to invest our stolen millions in Hyde Park so that we can for once appear as if we belong to the crowd of those we have so looked to as hte purveyors of all things worthwhile and good?
