An “Afro-London” Styled Wedding Photo Shoot Lit by Love
The sky loft at Altitude was the setting for this original styled shoot, a unique warehouse loft-style space with remarkable views of the diverse and exciting city of London. With London as the backdrop for this shoot, the team of vendors incorporated colourful fabrics in honour of African culture.
This was achieved with handmade cushions by OTandO Home Interiors using the very finest of Nigerian lace as well as Ankara-print bunting by Afmena Events, celebrating all things African and all things British.
The exposed reclaimed brickwork and wooden floor, provided a striking contrast to the elegant floral and venue design created by Afmena Events. When organising the shoot to promote the venue for the alternative bride seeking a contemporary space for their wedding, Ayo-Elizabeth contacted Afmena Events so that her coordinating expertise could be complimented by their design mastery to create something elegant, modern and quirky.
The bespoke tailored suits were provided by none other than INDIVISUAL by Keye and these matched perfectly the bridal gown supplied by Gbemi Okunlola, Britain’s youngest bridal wear designer and creative director of Alonuko.
With a delicate cake design by QCakes, beautiful natural hairstyling by Dionne Smith and make up by Menoy Transforms, the finishing touches were made complete, perfectly documented and captured by Photography by Abi and Urban Cinematography.
