There was mild drama at the entrance to the Presidential Villa on Tuesday as the #BringBackOurGirls Protesters met with another group of protesters, demanding that the group gives President Buhari peace to do his job.
The BBOG Protesters alleged that Police officers prevented them from getting to the spot they were marching to, but allowed the counter-protesters proceed to that same spot.
The BBOG placed posters containing pictures of the over 200 girls that were abducted in 2014 from their school in Chibok around the Villa.
“Where were they during the last 860 days of our consistent, non-partisan, apolitical, advocacy for the Chibok girls and all abductees, IDPs, support for the military, bomb blast survivors, and peace in the Northeast? Contradictions everywhere,” the BBOG group said.
