An England U-20 team parading 5 players of Nigerian descent (Fikayo Tomori, Josh Onomah, Ademola Lookman, Sheyi Ojo & Ovie Ejaria) emerged victorious in Suwon today as Dominic Calvert-Lewin‘s first-half strike secured Under-20 World Cup glory.

Calvert-Lewin broke the deadlock 10 minutes before half-time. Then Adalberto Penaranda passed up a chance to equalize for Venezuela in the 74th minute as goalkeeper Freddie Woodman parried his effort and England held firm in a nervy finish to be crowned world champions at Under-20 level for the first time and the first English team since 1966 to claim a World Cup trophy.

These two countries have a very old ancient history together, that is been stored ‘chiefly’ under the carpet.

I’d say more than any other country Nigerians feel quite at home in England.

And find many roads and lineages for spiritual motivation to success.

But the English don’t realy show any amount sympathy for other African countries to be honest.

Its a Bull- Dog mentality Thing. God bless.
