Let’s face it, mothers are legends! Apart from being the cement that binds the family together, the modern mum wears a multitude of hats. She juggles the running of her home, caring for her children, fulfilling her wifely duties as well as excelling at her career. We just love our mums!

The days of having to choose between motherhood and career are long gone. Mothers all over the globe are making tangible in-roads across various sectors, including business and industry, from being self-employed to holding top management level positions in multinationals. But mums could not have achieved all that they have in the field of work without the support and encouragement from their families.
In light of this, Africa’s leading family magazine, Motherhood In-Style Magazine is set to hold its first ever SME family Fair & conference tagged, “Mums-in-Business”.
The 2-day free event will be a spectacular display of familial support and camaraderie.
The entire family will come out to support established and aspiring Mums-in-Business, as they showcase their efforts and products. “Family Fun” will be the theme of the day, with events, games and entertainment laid out to appeal to every single member of the family, from the toddlers right up to grandparents!
Some fun things to look out for at the fair include the “Family Olympics” and lots of prizes.
Also in the line-up is a conference and interactive session, featuring established mothers representing various industries as well as up-coming mums in business.
The eight speakers for this year’s Mums-in-Business conference, are carefully selected industry leaders in their respective fields. To mention a few, the conference will be graced by Adenike Ogunlesi; Founder and CEO, Ruff N Tumble, Tara Fela-Durotoye; Founder and CEO, House of Tara International, Abimbola Balogun; CEO, So Fresh Neighborhood Market and more.
This gathering is aimed at providing a platform for mums to interact, be inspired and acquire the knowledge to take their business and family lives to their optimum level.
