Court grants El-Zakzaky Permission to Travel Abroad for Treatment

An application filed by the embattled leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN), Ibrahim El-Zakzaky has reportedly been granted by the High court sitting in Kaduna State.

El-Zakzaky had prayed the court through his counsel Femi Falana to grant him the permission to  travel abroad for medical treatment as his health condition was deteriorating.

He stated that he had lost one of his eyes while in custody of the Department of State Services (DSS).

Vanguard reports that the court granted the Islamic leader the permission with the condition that he goes with the DSS.
