Ego Boyo & Akin Omotoso’s “The Ghost and The House of Truth” Won Best Narrative Feature (World Cinema) at Urban World Film Festival

The Ghost and The House of Truth”, produced by Ego Boyo and directed by Akin Omotosho has won the Grand Jury Prize for Best Narrative Feature (World Cinema) at The Urban World Film Festival in New York.

The movie which stars Tope Tedela, Kate Henshaw, Seun Ajayi, Ijeoma Grace Agu, Mairo Obruthe, Susan Wokoma, Imoleayo Olusanya and Gloria Young, follows the life of Bola Ogun, a dedicated counsellor who helps convicts and the victims of their crime reconcile. When her 8-year-old daughter goes missing and police investigation makes no headway, she is forced to question her belief in forgiveness.

Urban World Film Festival shared the news on its website and Ego Boyo also took to Twitter to share the good news. She wrote:
