2Face is hitting us hard with the promo for his new album ‘The Unstoppable’. As soon as the album was released, his song ‘Flex’ feat R Kelly created hysteria on the internet and now he’s finally released a video for the song ‘Enter the Place’ feat Sound Sultan. The song which is featured on the new album was originally released in 2008 as the title track for his promo teaser EP. Catchy song, nice video. 2Face doing what he does best.

Am I the only feminist insulted by these new generation 9ja singers…they’ve taken over Hiphop, I predict 2face using the b-word pretty soon.
No Ladi, u’re not the only feminist who is insulted by these new generation singers….but can u really blame them?? for most of them, all they are good at is “photocopying” and “overlifting” (words from Ruggedman) American hip-hop and values…..the art of creativity while still being respectful of women and people in general is a concept that is foreign to them…..alas for education….sheesh…..

I personally do not think the video is that great, there is nothing extraordinary about it. When i first heard the single, i didnt like it either so….they didn’t have to waste money and go to jand, could have easily been made in their backyard
WTH!!!!?? first off, i feel like 2face is singing and then there’s the music in the background….i expected more….cud have been better…
2face is performing below expectations. I expected more. He has to come up with something original soon if he is still interested in remaining in that industry. These new artistes are super creative.
I expected people to make snide remarks about 2face’s new album. I mean, what else is expected after the media has crucified him just because of his now-legendary misadventure with women. You have to be a lover of good music to appreciate 2face’s trade. His album is a great one (Unstoppable, if you like). I’d suggest anyone who strongly thinks that the album is below expectation to listen (pay attention to the lyrics) to the track “Can’t do with you”… You’ll, i bet, understand how good this dude is. His music makes a lot of sense to me. Who says “you don’t have to make sense?” Crap!

The guy even took a few beats from the great Fela and used it for the track “I sing”. Has anyone listened to the lyrics of that track? It might be in pidgin, but it is really funny.
He makes some naughty comments no doubt(like that silly warning to girls that if they enter his place they might get pregnant too…), but i guess he just wants to sell… and you know we all like naughty but nice…
All in all, the album is great, though i have some issues.. the duet wit R kelly, is it really a duet? Seems the guy just sang the chorus somewhere and sent his recording to 2 face.

And as for feminists and purists who don’t like him again because they feel he should only sing songs like “African Queen”, then i wonder what they’ll say about others such as D banj,Durella and especially MP, who use euphemism and onomatopoeia to sing vulgar tracks! It may be creative and entertaining, but its still downright vulgar!
2Face is good. 2face’s album is good and going to get better and better(i hope), and 2face’s talent is definitely better than most other stuff we hear out there.

The issue is dat nigerians prefer ashawo music to real talent…The Unstoppable album is classy.D broda has stepped up his game,he doesnt have to do only party songs to catch the audience,we his fans love him the way he is…..if music success in nigeria was based on lyrical talent alone…tuface and Asa would be d highest selling acts in this country….Tuface is talented and knows how to use his talent well….come to talk of his issues with women,though its not good,Y’all should let him be….as long as he hasnt come to ask any of u for help to cater for his kids u should all shut the hell up.period!!!
