As the music community anticipates the release of the Knighthouse Street Scriptures album, we at Bella Naija are shining our spotlight on one of its rising stars who goes by the name Mo’Cheddah. Modupe Oreoluwa Ola is one of the new kids on the block to join the plethora of artists on the Naija music scene. What make this eighteen year old creative arts student special are her skills as both a singer and a rapper. As a self proclaimed fashionista and never shy of a camera lens, Mo’Cheddah has rubbed shoulders with some of the industry’s finest. She has collaborated with the likes of Kell, Saucekid, MI and Teeto. Her debut album is slated to drop at the later part of the year and already boast featuring artists that include Illbliss, Terry the Rapman, Tee-Y Mix, and Jesse Jagzz. Adding songwriter to her list of credentials, Mo’Cheddah is one to look out for.

Is she like Eve, Fergie and Gwen?
Wait she’s 18? My 9ja state of mind is asking for parents guess she’s following Rihanna’s steps of stating early.
I like her but is that her voice or sound effects?
hmmm i reckon she shouldnt quit the creative art she is studying… it will come in handy. cos dis aint gonna put food on the table for long
@ Ladi…it’s her voice oh…the girl hot die
Chioma takes herself too seriously. Talking back at commenters and stuff. That’s kind of tacky. People saying negative or mean things about you is the price you pay for putting yourself out there. So, you what everybody to absolutely love everything you wear? I beg jare, free us. Let us look at your photos and be free to love or hate them.
Love the outfit with the yellow booties though.
(OOps! sorry about the last comment, I completely forgot and pasted!”
Capitol Records is the shett man! It has a trademark. You can pick it out in a crowd. God! The production of the video is sweet! Clarence, I hail!
“we define international!”
Top quality video no doubt but I can’t make out the lyrics to the hook of the song…also the added effects to her vocals makes it kinda hard to judge the original quality of her voice
HOT video!
So it’s okay. Definitely better than a lot of stuff I’ve seen when you put Nigerian and Camera together.
Is it just me, or are Nigerian music videos these days a complete duplicate of African American music videos with the exception of the fact that they sing in Yoruba, Igbo, pidgin, etc?
And what’s with all the reference to “….’s finest”? I seriously doubt that the Nigerian Police can be referred to as anyone’s finest.
Also, I’m not sure what is going on with the painted on tattoos in the video, or the reference in some other Nigerian videos to “all my niggers in the East coast and all my niggers in the West Coast”
As far as I can tell, Nigeria has only ONE coast: The SOUTH coast.
It’s a good effort, but honestly, creativity scores zero. Carbon copy of any random American hip hop video.
These people need to go watch The Idan Raichel Project for inspiration.
sooo………………….yaaaa. video?
wow, GF can rhyme with best of them and for the video,,, slamming, wat else can you expect from CAP
She is nothing but raw, uncut, sexiness with a flow that’ll damage any male rapper I know…
Damn she’s fine too XD XD XD
That is exactly what the public wants to see..bling,fast cars, even faster girls.give em a break,it’s not easy getting that kind of set up to come into fruition you know. You basically just destroyed the whole effort..lol..anyways opinions are like assholes b’cos everybody got one
LMAO….LOL…that was harsh
hehehehe @ the cost comment. Sugabelly, you’re right joh! The copy-copy is too much its not even correct.
* coast…typo!
