Love the blazer….
I love the neck pieces!! They would look really nice on a black dress or a tank top and jeans. I like how Christie wore hers and how it’s incorporated into the dress in the 3rd to the last pic. The one with the hot pink feathers is my favorite.
Well done Christie Brown.

“a few of my favourite things” – that’s a line from a song in the sound of music; oprah didn’t invent the phrase. it’s common property; you don’t have to be a wannabe to use it. HATER.
Don’t mind that one, its an old song and also the official song for Skoda motors..Oprah ko, Praho ni..
my goodness, that fella is the boom boom pow and from my observations i can bet he’s igbo. asanwa, omalicha, dim oma, tomato jos’m, marry me!

loving the necklace…especially the way she wore it contrasting with another ankara print top
@ la la girl, thanks, some people just like 2 read meanings and analyse every little detail.anybody can use a few of my favourite thing cos we all have a few favourite things,we don’t need copyrite approval from anyone.
CB is really talented, nice finishing to her cloths they fit like a tee and good pricing
Hi Gbemisoke, lovely seeing you here. But seriously, weren’t the clothes supposed to be given more attention?seriously BN,i feel you are beginning to lose the essence of why you are doing this in the first place.I understand that posts that have people looking nicely dressed has the most comments than others, but seriously with these kind of posts, you should put the pictures in sections, 1 for the clothes & its designer plus those wearing her designs & another for those in attendance.SIMPLE!!
Notice how the first few comments are talking about a guy,Seriously, what’s the caption of the post again
lol @ gbekun’s comment
this fine boy had berra run for his life o!
See inplicit and explicit proposals sha!
I love the last girl’s ensemble! If it’s by the designer then I’m extra impressed. Very nice…
http://temiville.wordpress.com/
Her designs look great from the few I caught especially the neck piece she wore. I would have liked to see more of her work and less of the people.
Don’t be fooled ny how fine a boy is ooo, they are mostly shallow and empty. Besides let them chase after you not you drooling over them.
Fine boy ko, fine boy ni!!!!
abeg no vex… as we now like the boy nko?
ahem, jess abi jessie… leave my beau oh!
#final warning…
btw bless you Jayla for the name *now playing “flames”*
ooh “Married” “Secret Admirer abi na soulmates”
husband snatcher!!!
No be small flames, so which one you get??? Lwkm. You guys just crack me up daily. As for those who’re beefing that a fine boy was identified and singled out for honors, whatever happened to your senses of humour???
What a talented designer?
Faboulous!
I love the designs,creative!
Sorry to say but she’s not dressed like a designer at allll! She way toooo accessorised. She shld know better than to dress like this.

Lovely designs, trendy and definitely very wearable!… kudos to the camera person, ur pictures are tight!… nice angles… for a moment I thought it was another of jide alakija’s works…
My thoughts exactly!
lol…the boys name is Bo and thats his babe in the pic….there are loads of nig guys like this, let not ur heart be troubled….
ok jess, lets share! u can be d concubine… lol
Some of these African designs remind me of the ’80s and ’90s when Nikky Africana and Maufechi were the designers-dejour. Its becoming so predictable what African designers are creating – thick bead works, patch work, mix ‘n match fabrics etc…. They really end up looking like museum collections and not wearable at all. Only few of the designers are creating clothes that would be vintage in say 20years time. The designers are in the kindegerten stage and i hope they get investors to help them improve on quality of fabrics. Its become so tiresome seeing everyone use vlisco and co to create their designs. Why not commission vlisco to create special designs for each line? That would be creative and not the usual copy & paste.
The designer Aisha is a very humble person who I met in New York City. I applaud here because she is based in Ghana and spoke of the difficulty to produce and also how she wants to expand material production on the continent. In spite of the challenges she is doing. Thanks for sharing Bella. BTW Christie Brown is her grandmother’s name.
nice crowd but this looks more like a party rather than a show casing of fashions see comments on d page lol
The statement neck pieces are very lush! do they do online sale or how can i purchase
Naija babes don vex o, hiya!!
I swear..I was just looking at the pics..N I was like oh nice..then BAM..I see fine boy n I was OHHH NICEEEEE. OH boy, do your pretty boy rock!
the photograohy for the event is on point but i highly doubt that was the objective. i see more of a few of somebodys favorite people than a few of my favorite thing. more focus on the clothes please.
I’m loving the neck pieces, are they available for sale in the USA? From what I see so far, the embellishments are gorgeous.
I bet this event was not in Nigeria
The people up there look real
no fake lashes,fake nails,fake weaves
heck fake boobs, fake designer clothes, dressing like celebrities lol
a breathe of fresh air aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh
na u sabi oo…hiss
***ooopsy****
or rather i meant this crowd doesnt look like it was pulled off the typical naija setting
You go girl, we south Africans are very proud of you.
i love her designer clothes, how do i get one too lol
I love those neck pieces. I am always glad to see Africans being creative with Ankara. 100% cotton -great for our weather and all those riotous colours – what’s not to love?
christie brown is a darling, but i hope she doesn’t get lost in the whole i love ankara spirit, but i sure love her creative mind, the neck piece is awesome….a little bit different from ituen’s approach
i am in love with your designs they are so beautiful. your so creative oh my God you are wonderful.
