The teaser tickled your buds, now you can watch the first official trailer for Kunle Afolayan‘s new movie “Phone Swap“.

An arrogant business executive and a warm hearted fashion designer exchange lives after accidentally swapping their mobile phones at a busy airport…

We admit that we were concerned that corporate sponsorship from Glo and BlackBerry would tait the artistic vision of the movie, however, based on the trailer, the cast and plot details released so far, the film seems top notch!

Check out the official trailer below

ANONY…u want Kunle Afolayan’s Life to be ruined because u want freebees….Entertainment should not be for free. especially in a baby industry like Nollywood. If you want to see it, go to the cinemas when it it showing or wait to buy a DVD. Support Nigerian films by buying originals. Torrent ko…..TORMENT ni

(at least till at least 3 or 4yrs time) So if you dont catch it in the cinemas when it comes out too bad for you! As the person expecting it to be loaded on torrent or current…. i have no words! SMH!

    • NNENNE December 5, 2011 at 11:40 PM

Would really love to watch this.Truth is that I don”t like ordering things on-line, especially if it involves Naija folks. Wish there are more stores to buy real, not adulterated, current movies, in the traditional way ( with cash) in the New York area.

    • True December 6, 2011 at 12:25 AM

I love the new Nigerian movie trailers i see.. but it is so sad that i cant even get to watch them. I dnt mind paying to watch these movies if i can find them online.. any suggestions?

    • lola December 6, 2011 at 12:50 AM

can tell its gonna be interesting

    • seanini December 6, 2011 at 8:42 AM

i cant wait to watch this movie lol.

    • Foolish Ada December 6, 2011 at 9:20 AM

errr, i love the movie and stuff but this is hardly realistic because before your board a plane, your boarding pass is cross checked at least twice. so are we saying the hostess missed this?

      • okonkwo afoma December 9, 2011 at 11:10 PM

yea but most times esp in Nigeria they do not really cross check d name on d boarding pass with that on the pass port
they barely even use passport on local airport.

    • Aosgrl December 6, 2011 at 10:05 AM

Seriously Nigerian directors coming out with well developed films like this need to think bout alternative forms of distribution on line for people in the diaspora. I love what notjustok has done for music. Would like to see something similar for good movies. Obviously I’m not talking about the blackberry babes or dirty secret types.

    • cathy December 6, 2011 at 11:52 AM

me want watch oh, make una no quarrel na lol

    • kayode December 6, 2011 at 7:54 PM

    • groupie! December 7, 2011 at 2:27 PM

OMGEEEE!!! I will TOTALLY watch this in the theater!!!! lmao @ “what is your handiwork?” “Business” lmao…. i love Kunle Afolayan!

    • IJ December 8, 2011 at 5:40 PM

LOL, it looks interesting, but you guys should free Anony small. When I wasn’t in Nigeria I waited for ever to see The Figurine and Ije and I got tired of praying for them to come out on DVD. If they made the good ones into good quality DVDs, people abroad would actually buy them.

    • rickify December 8, 2011 at 10:11 PM

      with goat lungs and kpoloko….delicious

    • AanuDada December 9, 2011 at 4:30 PM

      Great work. Kudos 2 Kunle

    • Onyehead December 11, 2011 at 2:22 AM

      Make una free ANONY jasre..
What is it sef? even all you self-righteous-name-calling cahoots are all guilty of a torrent download or two in your life and if you claim not to have..explain the bluetooth-me-this-or-that that you have engaged in as well. As nigerian movies and other african movies don’t hit the cinemas here in Australia( talk much less of DVD), how do you expect us to copeif not youbute/naijapals etc..?.
I suggest that since you guys don’t want to get a life and point ANONY on the right track..then BEAT it..rather than badmouthing..WTH!!!
