BN Bytes: Nigerian Soul Singer Bez Featured on Essence’s “New & Next” Column

In January this year, Nigerian soul singer Bez made headlines as the first ever African to premiere his video That Stupid Song on BET’s 106 & Park. Just a few weeks ago, he got everyone talking once again after he was profiled on MTV Iggy Hall of Fame and now, taking another step for global domination, the 29 year old soft melodious singer responsible for hit tracks like Zuciya Daya and Super Sun was featured on Tuesday 26th June 2012 on the website of leading African American Publication Essence.com

According to Essence.com, Bez who admits to be influenced by Legend and neo-soul singers like Angie Stone, Erykah Badu and Corinne Bailey Rae, sounds like multi-Grammy award winning music act John Legend. Hmm! That’s truly a BIG one. Congrats to our very own artiste.

Bez is also scheduled to perform at the Los Angeles Apple Store’s Black Music Month Celebration taking place on Saturday 30th June 2012. To read the full feature, click here
