The 2011 Headies Officially Kicks Off – Waje, Ill Bliss, Ice Prince and Wizkid feature on Theme Song
What used to be the Hip-Hop World Awards is now simply known as “The Headies”. The awards ceremony which has hiterto been a point of reference for took things up a notch by changing its name, amongst other changes.
This year’s hosts, eLDee The Don and Rita Dominic were unveiled last month. And as the countdown towards the ceremony itself commences, the theme song “Standout|Surpass|Break from the Norm” features Waje, Ill Bliss, Ice Prince and Wizkid. The song was produced by Samklef.
