Putting Power into the Hands of Nigeria’s Youth! “Empower Nigeria” Conference series promoted by the Anabel Leadership Academy kicks off in Enugu – Thursday 31st January 2013

On Thursday 31st January 2013, Anabel Leadership Academy would be hosting a national and regional road show on empowerment targeted at Nigeria’s millions of unemployed young people. The event will kick off at the University of Nigeria Enugu Campus Law School complex.

The “Empower Nigeria” platform is designed to empower the millions of Nigeria’s unemployed people all across the country with the skills and the direction to create jobs for themselves and not keep waiting for large companies or failed politicians that are not creating any new jobs.

Empower Nigeria is divided into geographical zones and it is expected to cover all the parts of Nigeria as part of an empowerment road show, positively effecting the lives of millions of Nigerians everywhere the show goes.

Speakers
A distinguished team of speakers that are young, energized and committed to seeing a new focus on self-employment as the way to save Nigeria from the unemployment crisis would be speaking at this event.

They include: Osita Chidoka the Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps; Nze Akachukwu Nwankpo the Special Adviser to the President on Technical Matters and Secretary to Subsidy Reinvestment Program (SURE-P); Josephine Washima, Special Assistant to the President on Jobs Creation; Dr Sam Amadi the Chairman of the Nigeria Electricity Regulatory Commission and a host of successful established Entrepreneurs and Corporate Executives.

As the event is a collaboration between the Anabel Leadership Academy and the University of Nigeria, both the President and founder of Anabel Group, Nicholas Okoye as well as the Vice Chancellor of the University of Nigeria, Professor Bartho Okolo will be present to give their perspective on youth empowerment, job creation and the new focus for Nigerian young people.

Speaking on the upcoming event, the founder of Empower Nigeria, Nicholas Okoye told a rep from Anabel Leadership Academy: “The Empower Nigeria Conference series is a national road show, where we will be giving Nigerian young people over 250 ideas of businesses they can start with less than N150,000.00, we will also educate them in the areas that need to make changes in their lives to order to redefine their future and take their destiny into their hands, we are excited about the conference and we are looking forward to spreading the good news to all parts of Nigeria”.
