Exactly a week ago, the first official trailer for “Half of a Yellow Sun” made it’s debut online via the Toronto International Film Festival‘s website.
Now we get to see version 2 of the trailer. This one is almost identical to the first trailer – The major difference is we get to see Nollywood superstar Genevieve Nnaji in her role.
There were rumours earlier in the year that Genevieve’s role as Miss Adebayo had been cut out of the movie. According to the unsubstantiated rumours, “poor acting” was the reason for the chop! This seemingly gained credibility when she did not feature in the first official trailer.
Now BN can exclusively reveal that it’s not true!
Check out Genevieve in the new trailer below.
“Half of a Yellow Sun” is an on-screen adaptation of Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie‘s novel of the same name.
