Villa Monticello has won the coveted award of the Leading Hotel in Ghana for the second year in a row beating leading names in the industry.

Conveniently located in Airport Residential Area, Accra, Villa Monticello’s global influence can be felt from the moment one enters the hotel — images from Tuscany adorn the walls, painted murals from up-and-coming Ghanaian artists can be seen along the stairwell, and marble from South Africa lines the base of the glass paneled wall fountain in the signature restaurant—all distinct memorabilia from past travels.

There is however, no greater evidence of the owners’ diversity than the 14 individually-themed suites—from the majestic tones of the Kwame Nkrumah presidential suite, with commissioned photos of Ghana’s first president providing a backdrop to the rich gold and wood textures of custom local pieces, to the chic, urban, ode to design of the Manhattan Suite complete with a city skyline that transports you to the vibrancy of the Big Apple.

In addition to the requisite comforts in each suite, such as flat screen televisions, luxurious bathrobes and cotton terry bath towels, several hand-picked favorite amenities have made their way to each guest room such as Acqua di Parma toiletries, ipod docking stations and Nespresso machines (presidential suites).

Villa Monticello

The concept of Villa Monticello was one built on exceptional service. Complimentary amenities such as meeting guests at the airport with the hotel’s Mitsubishi Pajero or Mercedes Benz; providing transportation within a 3-mile radius; and offering private in-house meeting rooms; are part the Villa Monticello package. Personalized service, ranging from organizing regional private jet service, in-room massages and personal trainers, to creating itineraries to off-the-beaten path gems, are just examples of what can be provided by theKoncierge, Villa Monticello’s onsite concierge team.

The “View” – Private Meeting/Event Rooms
The “View” is our two-story private meeting room facility that overlooks our tranquil swimming pool.  Complimentary use for our hotel guests, the flexible space can host anything from a small 2 person meeting through to a private cocktail party of up to 25 people and can accommodate any range of events in between.

Here guests can  also enjoy casual menu options such as, Cheesy Fries or “KeleWele. The Terrace is also home to VM’s weekly  “Unplugged” night’s, creating an ambiance where guests can unwind whilst taking in Ghanaian culture, performed by local artists from different genre’s .

Villa Monticello
