Head coach Stephen Keshi has announced his provisional squad for the 2014 World Cup. The names will be further narrowed down to 23 on June 2nd, as the World Cup kicks off on June 12.
Nigeria which will be making its fifth appearance at sports biggest event – move over Superbowl, is in the same group as Argentina, Iran and Bosnia.
Osaze Odemwingie will be joining the team this time around, after his rift with Keshi. He will join Joseph Yobo, Mikel Obi and Vincent Enyeama, in the team.
Villareal’s Ikechukwu Uche, a favourite among football fans, was snubbed by the coach.
