2015 Elections: Imo State Gov Okorocha Advices Voters to Wait Until Votes are Counted before Leaving

Rochas OkorochaGov. Rochas Okorocha of Imo has urged APC faithful in the state to wait at their polling booths after casting their votes to ensure that all votes would be counted.

Okorocha gave the advice on Thursday while addressing rallies of APC at Central School Nnarambia Ahiazu and Ugwu Ekwema in Owerri Municipal.

The governor said the gesture would go a long way to enable the electorate to protect their votes.

He said the only way to ensure that the opposition parties did not succeed in rigging or stealing their votes would be vigilance during the elections.

Okorocha emphasised that the APC faithfuls should wait until their votes would counted.

The governor promised that he would transform Ahiazu and Owerri municipal through the provision of massive infrastructure when re-elected into office.

He also promised to embark on projects and programmes that would eradicate poverty in the state through massive Industrialisation.

Okorocha appealed to the people of Ahiazu and Owerri municipal to vote for APC to enable him continue with his good works in the state.

The APC candidates for Ahiazu State Constituency, Ejike Anakani and Adaku Ihuoma, who is contesting for Ahiazu/Ezinihitte Federal Constituency, have expressed their optimism to win the forthcoming elections.
