At a media briefing last Friday, natural bitters brand, Agya Appiah Bitters introduced their brand to the audience to taste and be the judge of their new drink.
The Acting CEO of Agya Appiah, Andrews Akolaa said that the brand’s entry into Nigeria was for one major reason – to provide Nigerian consumers with healthy alcoholic bitters in its purest most natural form. He also stated that the consumer will feel the distinction due to its noticeable aroma and smooth taste.
He continued by advising consumers to become more discerning about the compositions they consumed as a large number of blends in the market were either unhealthy formulations, or spiked with artificial additives and preservatives. He also added that these unhealthy formulations may contain toxins that are harmful to the body organs over time, and some of these products on the market are not even approved by NAFDAC.
Akolaa also commented on the brand’s popular reputation as an enhancer of libido and virility which has given it the nickname – ‘Waist & Power‘. He added that although the brand is not being marketed as an aphrodisiac, there have been testimonies by consumers.
