#HeinekenLFDW2015 – Day 1: Maxivive
Now, let’s see what the menswear designers are up to.
Maxivive was one of the first designers to showcase at this year’s Lagos Fashion & Design Week sponsored by Heineken. The brand, created by Babatunde Oyeyemi, debuted their Rainy Season collection earlier on this year and that definitely had people talking. Click here if you missed it.
So what did they have for us this year? Some pieces from the Rainy collection like the cellophane top and pants, as well as some more traditional looking pieces ranging from the ‘agbada’ to more tailored sets. The pieces have clean hemlines, and a subtle Asian theme that plays in the neckline and sleeves.
