i haven’t watched, just read the intro, but my baboon genes made my hand go up to my head and scratch in sheer confusion. why i confuse? i’m remembering me at a club, someplace where i didn’t speak the language, some guy i didn’t even dance with, and we make out before even speaking, and the club closes and we make out in the street, on the train, go to his parents’ apartment for further as you say conversation, and say bye before breakfast and never see again. pretty sure he was not my type and i was not interested (and possibly the same for him) just something to do, as in sometimes the spirit moves and you flow with it.

was that the intimate that you meant?
there are also traditions that say you meet within your socio-economic class, date, introduce each other to everybody, plan a wedding, present such wedding(s), THEN get intimate. i should try that too.

    hmm
    Dear Faozy
This is Bella Naija, and on Bella Naija we are all Christian virgins that think nothing good can come out of Rihanna, Toke Makinwa or people that post pictures aka ‘flaunt their lives’ on social media. We are chaste, do not have children out of wedlock, do not bleach or wear heavy makeup. To avoid any insults, refer this question to Naija gist live for more honest answers. At least you did not bleach, so we wont insult you today.
    Thanks

This is a good question. Especially since a close friend just confided that she caught herpes recently. She had only had 3 bfs in d past one of which she broke of their engsgement bcos of major issues. Fast fwd few months later she started dating a guy she had known for a year just as an acquiantance. They bcame intimate pretty quickly after a few dates. D dude was a catch physically but then she started to hear about how he had had a gazillion three somes, one nite stands, anal sex and all from his own mouth. Few months later she started to experience vaginosis(smelly pussy) and recurrent yeast infections. Quickly went to see the doc and it turns out d new dude had given her hpv and herpes. She had never had a yeast infection or smelly pussy before and she and her ex were never intimate which is why she was aching to quickly get intimate with the new dude.

Bottomline we gotta be careful ppl are dirty. Condoms dont prevent herpes and some of dese dudes are just fckng around unprotected. Luckily hpv goes on its own and 60% of ppl have it without knowing. Most ppl also have herpes without knowing cos many times there is no symptoms. But herpes is incurable and if you have symptoms it can be very painful however it is not deadly. My friend got a wake up call. I think its a warning to leave d amorous dude n to wait for the true love who will accept her new burden. Intimacy is fabmazing but shine yur eyes well

hmm, do you get tested, along with your serious partner or spouse, for hpv and other possibilities, before embarking on a closed monogamous 😉 life together? considering how e no dey show for face and all. in US/UK teens get hpv vaccine…
