Weather Forecast for Tuesday June 28th
The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted slim chances of early morning thundery weather conditions over the central States of the country on Tuesday.
The Weather Outlook issued by NiMet’s Central Forecast Office (CFO) on Monday in Abuja, predicted that localised thunderstorms would prevail over Abuja, Jos, Lafia and Bida axis in the afternoon and evening hours with maximum day time temperatures of 23 degrees to 30 degrees Celsius.
The agency further predicted that there would be possibilities of isolated rain showers over the southern states of Lagos, Rivers, Cross River, Osun and Oyo in the morning.
It added that there would be localised thunderstorms over places like Lagos, Port Harcourt, Calabar, Warri and Eket later in the day, with maximum day time temperatures of 27 degrees to 31 degrees Celsius.
NiMet also predicted that the Northern states would experience cloudiness over Sokoto, Kano, Potiskum, Gusau, Katsina and Maiduguri with maximum day time temperatures of 29 degrees to 33 degrees Celsius.
According to the prediction, stable weather condition is anticipated over the northern axis with chances of localised rain showers and thunderstorms in the central and southern cities in the next 24 hours.
