See Brymo’s Tweet that Elicited Mixed Reactions on Twitter
Just last month, musician Brymo faced backlash on Twitter after he told a Twitter user to drop out of school and chase his dreams like he (Brymo) did. Click here to see it.
Today, it’s about “Black Men” and “Suffering”. He said:
While some people agreed with him, others blatantly disagreed. There’s another group that said he made a good point but his method of delivery was bad. Others said he is entitled to his own opinion.

Can we emulate the Chinese model? Build our own world how we want it. Let’s depend on ourselves. Another way to put Brymo’s tweets.

— The Habib Ishola (@Sirehabbiibb) July 7, 2016
Blacks are not lazy and illogical. They are suffering and they enjoy it. That I support Brymo for.
— Omowunmi❤ (@TheRealWunmi) July 7, 2016
If Brymo says we love to suffer as blacks, then so be it, we truly love to suffer

Free Brymo. He has his own opinion and thought process. You are neither the judge nor the boss of him.
— Mike Milligan (@whoKilledUs) July 7, 2016
You need to think deep to understand Brymo before you start bashing him.

Brymo might have not used the right choice of words but he actually spoke the truth
— ANNE (@_TheHannah_) July 7, 2016
Brymo meant no disrespect by that tweet. Its just tried to be a Fela. He bit more than he could chew
— WhoIsYourDaddy (@oluwapower) July 7, 2016
Brymo got it all wrong joh
— lawwonder (@L_phenomenal) July 7, 2016
I laugh at people who think Brymo is wrong, watch and study real life scenario in Nigeria and you’d agree in an instance
— Olabode A.O (@omolere) July 7, 2016
Brymo does not need nobody’s validation. He don’t need to have won any awards to have an opinion, however skewed you view his thinking as.
— Adérójú (@Morojuraye) July 7, 2016
Brymo slowly becoming the John Mayer of Nigerian music……lovely music…but off-colour statements on social media making him easy to hate
— CARLOS BLANKA (@J_Chiemeke) July 7, 2016
Lol. Ppl are just angry @ brymo for nothing. And all he said was the truth.
— Oluwaseun (@ileseunayo) July 7, 2016
I think Brymo has a problem with expressing his thoughts. His choice of words always causing wahala
— Uyime Psalmy (@soulchildPsalmy) July 7, 2016
@BrymOlawale unfortunately we don’t like truth because we did this to ourselves
