“Naija Glory” Manor Styled Shoot in London | Your Day, Our Time

Dubai-based Nigerian event planner Funmi Oyelayo of Your Day, Our Time ventured to London for this Nigerian-infused wedding styled shoot.

Themed ‘Naija Glory’, Funmi was interested in using traditional ankara prints to style a wedding.She says of her inspiration –

I plan all weddings in Dubai, but focus on Nigerian weddings in particular. The ankara fabric used to drape the chairs and compliment the tableware is a bold choice for a bride who would like to celebrate her cultural heritage on her wedding day with simple details.

We also added traditional elements in the clothing and accessories, while keeping the colour palette neutral.
